Marine Camps Policies

Life Jackets
All Marine Campers will be provided with a life jacket that they'll be expected to wear at all times.
This policy is strictly enforced!

Age Requirements
Your child must meet the specified age requirements at the start of the camp due to insurance reasons.

Swim Requirements
There are no swim requirements for Marine Camps. All Marine Campers need only feel comfortable around water wearing a life jacket.

Marine Camps Instructors
Canoe and Kayaking Camps, as well as Outdoors Bound and Outdoors Beyond, are offered in partnership with the Harbourfront Canoe and Kayak Centre, now entering their 32nd year of operation. Experienced staff are certified through the Ontario Recreational Canoeing and Kayaking Association (ORCKA) and/or Paddle Canada, and are trained specifically for work with children.

All Sailing Camps are offered by Harbourfront Sailing and Powerboating (formerly Queen's Quay Sailing and Powerboating). Instructors are qualified under Canadian Yachting Association standards and are trained specifically for work with children. Campers explore Toronto Harbour and experience the adventure of sailing plus make new friends. All courses encourage personal development in stimulating and safe surroundings.

Busing

We provide bus service from designated school locations. Busing is on a first-come-first-served basis, so please register early to guarantee a seat. Each bus has an assigned supervisor. Choose ONLY ONE bus stop for both AM pick-up and PM drop-off – different stops are NOT available. Please note: There is no busing for Session 5A.
